Full-Time Representative Position Available at Ionian and Aegean Island Holidays! Submit Your CV and Contact Information Today!

Work with another rep covering the villas and apartments on the Ionian & Aegean Island Holidays books in the north of Kefalonia island. They will be divided between you.

KEY FEATURES

  • April to the end of October.
  • 6 days a week - one day off midweek.
  • Hours normally are:
  • Saturday All Day. Doing transfers between Fiskardo & the airport or Sami port.
  • Other Days, 09:00 - 14:00 & 17:30 - 21:00, but this is just approximate.
  • Hours will be spent visiting properties or clients; when this is not required, you will be required to ensure at least one of the reps is in the office on the Fiskardo harbour.
  • You may find the beginning of the week busier greeting customers and dealing with issues, then later in the week is mainly office work preparing for the weekend.
  • Work phone provided - Your work phone has to be on 24/7.
  • Accommodation.
  • Car with ability to claim for work use petrol.
  • Flight to and from the island (if not already a resident.)
  • The opportunity to work in a beautiful environment, Fiskardo, on the north of Kefalonia island.
  • •  €1,200 - €1,500 per month  (NET AFTER NATIONAL INSURANCE)

KEY SKILLS

  • Flexibility - Please be aware that you need to be flexible in case of emergencies or client calls.
  • Customer Service - All week, you will be dealing with customers' questions and queries on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Problem Solving - In response to client’s requirements – it could be by booking experts in to fix issues or purchasing new equipment for the villas, or simply giving advice about excursions, local area, etc.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Manage your hours and float - You are provided a float to pay for your petrol, clients welcome drinks and anything you need to purchase for the villas that may have broken or be missing (if the owner doesn't do so).
  • Administration - Delivered on time. As well as documents for clients such as arrival & departure letters, every week you must document your expenses and email them to the Rep Manager along with a weekly report for the Rep Manager and London Customer Services Manager.

Note: If you are a British citizen, you must have a visa to work in Greece or a Greek passport.

APPROXIMATION OF YOUR WEEK

Saturday - Airport / Transfer Day - All day, including coach journeys.

Sunday - Welcome Meetings - tell clients about the island and answer any questions.

Monday - Mornings - Visit guests to make sure everything is ok and answer any questions. Evenings - Preparation for next weekend finalizing numbers.

Tuesday - Probably a day off today or tomorrow

Wednesday - Office Day - complete departure letters & welcome letters for the weekend.

Thursday - Deliver Departure Letters.

Friday - Office Day - prepare rooming lists for the accommodation owners, pick up any last minute booking information from London, generally on hand to answer questions about departures.
