Our recent visit to this culinary gem was a journey through the flavors of Greece, showcasing the richness and authenticity of Greek gastronomy.

An impressive, unique and well-established Greek restaurant that is conveniently located between Bayswater and Queensway, that emphasises family-style food, traditional pastries (tsourekia, baklava etc.) and real Greek coffee. You can visit from early morning until evening for breakfasts to family dinners and it caters for the whole gamut of dining needs from private events to coffees and pastries. The space offers an authentic Greek experience and the comfort of being part of the family.

Rich in history and presence, Byzantium will be entering a new era in Cool Village, in a newly renovated space with a fresh image whilst still maintaining its traditions of the past 30 years. Authentic recipes, delicious dishes, unique member-driven events, high-quality ingredients and warm surroundings mean every resident of Cool Village can embrace the unparalleled tradition that is Byzantium.

We had the opportunity to visit this amazing restaurant in London and we were impressed by our dining experience.

The menu at Byzantium is a delightful celebration of Greek gastronomy, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to various palates. From the iconic Greek Salad, a refreshing medley of flavors, to the savory meatballs paired with aubergine that tantalized our taste buds, each dish showcased the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. The main courses, featuring succulent pork and a medley of roasted vegetables, continued to impress, while the tempting selection of traditional Greek sweets, including the heavenly baklava, provided a sweet conclusion to our Greek feast.

However, the true stars of the evening were the traditional Greek desserts, melomakarona and kourampiedes. The melomakarona, sweet honey-dipped cookies with a hint of cinnamon and orange, danced on the palate with an irresistible blend of textures. Meanwhile, the kourampiedes, delicate almond shortbread cookies dusted with powdered sugar, melted in the mouth, leaving a lingering sweetness that encapsulated the essence of Greek hospitality. On top of that, Byzantium Triple Chocolate Soft Cookie has also been featured in The Tried-and-Tested 9 Best Cookies in London, ranking among the best soft cookies in London.
